Wholesaler snaps up Croydon warehouse to serve South London business
A leading wholesale and retail grocer has snapped up a warehouse at developer investor SEGRO’s SEGRO Park Redhouse Road scheme in Croydon, South London.

THE WHOLESALER has taken Unit 1 totalling 28,840 ft2 to support its expansion into the South London market. The wholesaler supplies convenience stores, grocers, restaurants and other businesses with over 8,000 fast-moving consumer goods products from its current base in West London.
Like many businesses, the company is responding to the demands created by Croydon’s high population density, a growing customer base of local businesses and excellent transport links.
A SEGRO spokesperson said: “This latest leasing activity also reflects continued confidence in the strength and appeal of the Croydon industrial market, with high-quality, expansion-led moves signalling growing occupier demand across the borough.”
The property boasts 23,753 ft2 of warehouse space with 12.5m eaves and two level access doors served by a secure, private yard up to 40m depth as well as 5,087 ft2 of office space on ground and first floors.
The BREEAM Excellent / EPC A rated space comprises the latest sustainable innovations for accelerated efficiency including a 138 kWp PV system, EV charging with additional features including bicycle shelters, kitchenette and shower / changing facilities.
SEGRO Park Croydon Redhouse Road is located just 10 minutes from Croydon Town Centre and ten miles from both Central London to the North and the M25 to the South.
