UNDER THE deal, CEVA will handle all 7,000 vehicles distributed each year directly from the Port of Zeebrugge in Belgium, up from a third previously. The cars will move straight from the port to their destinations, bypassing traditional finished vehicle logistics platforms.

CEVA will manage the transport and distribution of JLR vehicles built in the UK and Slovakia, consolidating them through hubs including Zeebrugge and Rotterdam for onward distribution to major European markets. Bringing more of the operation under a single provider is intended to give JLR a more unified network with streamlined distribution flows and greater operational control.

The contract also introduces hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) biofuel alongside CEVA’s mass balance approach, allowing JLR to cut CO₂ emissions while maintaining network flexibility.

CEVA has run finished vehicle logistics for JLR in the Benelux since 2015 and in France since 2021.
