FTA welcomes fuel duty freeze but says cut would boost economy

The Chancellor of the Exchequer’s confirmation that fuel duty will be frozen next year – saving industry around £186 million – is a positive step but is not enough to deliver significant benefits to the economy, the Freight Transport Association has said.
