Kier starts Milton Keynes warehouse

THE DEVELOPER has started the demolition of a 66,493 ft2 warehouse and adjacent office block on the six acre site, which it bought from BL Balmoral in July 2022. Kier secured planning earlier this year for the redevelopment which will see it build a state of the art  net zero carbon in construction property that will target BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A rating.

The building will boast 12m eaves, 14 dock and four level access doors as well as accommodating 12,787 ft2 of Grade A office space. It will have a green roof, high-efficiency LED lighting, and PV cells
