RULA DEVELOPMENTS was named as development partner by Stockton-on-Tees Council, which owns the land in Eaglescliffe, as reported in Logistics Matters in March last year.
The land, adjacent to Eaglescliffe Train Station and one mile from the A66, was purchased by the Council in 2021 and following a competitive tender process, privately owned commercial real estate development company Rula Developments was selected to deliver an industrial and logistics led scheme.
A hybrid application has been submitted for 775,000 ft2 pof industrial and logistics space with detailed proposals for some 25.95 acre for Phase one, which will see Rula create plateaus to level the site, making it ‘oven-ready’ for future construction.
Rula Developments development director Anthony Clitheroe, said: “Following appointment last year, we have been working with officers and stakeholders to develop proposals to regenerate this key employment site, which has potential to deliver up to 1,000 jobs.”
To be known as Teeslink, infrastructure works are expected to commence in Q3 of 2025.
The site has been designed with flexibility in mind and a wide range of unit sizes can be accommodated to meet occupier demand.
Joint agents are Knight Frank and Carter Jonas.
