Busy start to 2019

The first show Joloda is exhibiting at is the LogiMAT in Stuttgart, Germany from 19-21 February (Hall 3 D64).

Karen McBride, marketing manager of Joloda says: “We exhibit at this show every year as this is the one of the most important Intralogistic shows in Europe. Our newest loading solution will be on show which is the Joloda One Shot trailerskate system.

This new trailerloading system is the fastest in the industry. It can load a trailer in under 2 minutes! The trailer itself can still be used 100% flexible for any other application because of the Joloda Flat Floor track technology. Perfect high volume operations over medium to long shuttle distances.”

The next exhibition is across the Atlantic in Chicago, the Promat show (stand D66), from 8-11 April. This show is held every 2 years and showcases all the latest developments in distribution supply chain equipment.

Karen continues: “Again we will be showing the US market all the automatic Factory to Vehicle Loading systems (AVL’s) informing how they can save money and increase efficiency in their logistics supply chain.

“Many UK and European companies already utilise the Joloda trailer and dock loading systems to minimise loading times and maximise logistics resources. These are Heinz, Unilever, P&G and Coca Cola to name a few. Loading a vehicle with 26 pallets in 90 seconds reduces time on the dock, loads are all through the rear door so no need for fork trucks rushing around the yard.

“Operation is simple and is completed by the vehicle driver. Therefore once the dock is loaded for the out bound load, the warehouse personnel are released for other activities as the vehicle driver loads his own vehicle. The process at the delivery end is similar, the driver operating the unload process too.

“They reduce the need for forklift trucks, load in seconds so maximum efficiency, utilises the full trailer space so less trucks needed, automatic loading means less product damage as well as ensuring health and safety of workers when loading/offloading.”
